The Lion King musical
Last year I went with my parents to Madrid to see The Lion King musical. We stayed in a hotel in the center of the city. The Lion King is one of my favourite Disney films. I've wanted to see the musical since the first time I saw the TV ad, so I was really excited.
The musical has two acts. The first act tells the story of Simba's childhood, and it ends with adult Simba singing Hakuna Matata with Timon and Pumba. In my opinion, that scene was one of the best.
The second act tells the story of how the kingdom was ruined by Scar, and how Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumba try to save it.
My favourite song was Circle of Life. It was so beautiful and moving. There were so many great dancers in the stage I didn't know were to look. Everybody was moved.
In my opinion, the best part of the musical is the fact that you can see the people wearing the animal costumes. They move with such an elegance and naturality! Also, the dancers were amazing. Every scene was gripping.
The Lion King is, definitely, my favourite musical.
