READING TODAY

A book is not only a compilation of pages with
indefinite words but it's a way by which writers try to tell us a story that
can makes us feel happy, sad, it can make you laugh or feel scary…

 But we live in
a society in which people don't show interest about books. But why don't people
read? Some prefer watching TV programmes that only persuade them and change
their own opinions and tastes. But there are other types of problems like lack
of time or the price of books, that are sometimes expensive, but there are
alternatives like libraries or eBooks. Other people say books are boring but
I'm sure everyone would read if we knew the kind of stories we like.

      Some
famous books are "The Hunger Games"
by Suzanne Collins; the saga "I hate pink";
the saga "Millennium" by Stieg Larsson; "The
shadow of the wind
" by Carlos Ruiz Zafón… and a lot more.

 Reading any
text can take many good things, e.g. we can express better knowing more
vocabulary and also we can learn about problems that are very common in
everyday life, and sometimes you can feel identified with the characters
because you see up close that problem. It opens your mind too, because you can
imagine the places where the story occurs, the appearance of the characters,
the objects, scenes, etc., so everyone imagines it differently.

In my conclusion, reading is
important, especially in this society of few wanted to know.
