Paddel

This sport was invented in Mexico, by Enrique Corcuera in 1962. After
its popularity in several South American countries and in Spain, his practice
began to spread throughout America and Europe.

Paddle tennis is played in pairs and comprises three basic materials for
its development: the ball, blade paddle and track.

The World Padel Tour (WPT) is the most important circuit in this sport
worldwide.

Each year there are between 15 and 20 WPT tournaments plus a final
master in which the best ranking couples face. Participating players travel
through different cities in the world to be adding points and enter the final
Masters, where only the 8 best couples flock ranking after completing the
season. Male and female tests are disputed, although the number of women WPT
championships is lower, about half.
