-The Eiffel Tower  is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. 
-It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. 
-Constructed in 1889 as the entrance to the 1889 World´s Fair.
-The tower is the tallest structure in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world.
-The tower is 324 metres tall. Its base is square, 125 metres on a side. 
-During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to become the:
 -The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second. 
The top level's upper platform is 276 m above the ground, the highest accessible to the public in the European Union.

I think the Eiffel Tower is quite interesting. I want to visit it next holidays!
