RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS


It is a female gymnastic modality especially developed body expressiveness and practiced 
with musical accompaniment and certain mobile devices such as rope, maces, ribbon, hoop or ball.
In this sport both competitions and exhibitions in which the athlete is accompanied by music to keep a rhythm in their 
movements, when mounted with or without apparatus are performed. 
Rhythmic gymnastics develops harmony, grace and beauty through creative movement,
translated into personal expressions through the musical, theatrical and technical combination, 
which transmits mainly aesthetic satisfaction to viewers.

Almudena Cid is the only gymnast in history who has managed to be in the final four Olympic Games.
She is great!!
It was gold medal at the Mediterranean Games Almería 2005. It is, along with Carolina Rodríguez, 
the gymnast who more times has been champion of Spain in the overall competition category of honor, with 8 titles. 
She created his own element called the Cid Tostado, 
a bearing standing position hyperextended foot spagat. After 21 years of career, 
she left professional sport on August 23, 2008.
