BASKETBALL:
This
sport was created by James Naismith in Springfield (Massachusetts),
United States, in December 1891.
Luther
Gulick, his P.E. Teacher, suggested him in the spring of 1891, to
explore the possibility of creating a sport, with features such as
the following:
- You
can play inside the school gymnasium and in teams.
Fundamentally
it is a competition between two teams that they have to score points
putting the ball through the ring of the other side. In
basketball there are teams with gils, others teams with boys and
others teams with boys and girls.
My favourite
basketball team is Chicago Bulls:
